Teletrack is an Australian-owned telematics business built for the two sides of the same problem: hiring equipment and vehicles out to other people, and tracking your own internal fleet. Same platform handles both. Location tracking, remote access, and live operational data — turned into reports, alerts, and exception flags you can actually run a business off, not just a map with dots on it.

The company was founded by people who'd worked inside large fleets and knew where the day-to-day pain actually sits. The first customers came from equipment hire, where the rental-leakage problem was costing real money and nobody was solving it properly. From there the platform grew out into civil and Tier 1/2 construction, material handling, machinery OEMs and trades fleets. The shared need: telematics fundamentals plus pre-start safety, maintenance work orders, and a way to share data with the people on site.

What we try to do well is the bit most telematics vendors skip: bridging data and communication. The tracker is the easy part. Getting the right information in front of the right person — operator, mechanic, hire desk, site supervisor, finance — at the moment they need it is the work. We're members of the Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) and active at HRIA events including the HIRE convention.

We don't pretend to be a multi-office multinational. Teletrack was founded on the Central Coast and the team has since gone fully remote — a small, focused, Australian-owned and operated business, distributed enough that the right person can take the call wherever they are.
