Why pick Dart3-BLE over the G70-BLE?
Size. The Dart3-BLE has the same hardwired-tracker capabilities as the G70-BLE (PROSTART® immobilisation, BLE, digital I/O) in a more compact form factor. For utes, vans, and light trucks where the G70-BLE is over-specced or doesn't fit, the Dart3-BLE is the right choice. For heavy plant and generators, the G70-BLE is the flagship.
Why pick Dart3-BLE over Teltonika FMM250 or Ruptela Smart5?
All three are hardwired light-commercial trackers with PROSTART® support. Dart3-BLE is the Australian-designed option from Digital Matter. FMM250 and Smart5 are European-engineered. We carry all three so you can pick based on form factor, install context, and preferred ecosystem. Pricing: Dart3 and FMM250 at $250; Smart5 at $200.
Does Dart3-BLE support immobilisation?
Yes. Hardwired with a digital output — drives an immobiliser relay the same way the G70-BLE and other hardwired devices in our lineup do. PROSTART® manages the workflow.
What's the install look like?
Typically 1 hour per vehicle for a professional auto-electrician. Wiring into the vehicle's ignition circuit, immobiliser relay (if used), and battery. We provide install diagrams; our partner network handles the install on request.
Can I move a Dart3-BLE between vehicles?
The hardware can be uninstalled and reinstalled. Re-commissioning costs apply (the device needs to be re-paired in the platform). Not as portable as a battery-mounted Asset5; suitable for permanent installs.
What's the warranty?
Manufacturer warranty from Digital Matter, passed through by Teletrack. Standard terms apply — see the licence agreement for full conditions.
