Digital Matter designs and engineers all of its trackers in Australia. The devices are used worldwide across construction, mining, fleet, and asset tracking.
Digital Matter trackers are deliberately platform-agnostic — they don't lock customers into a Digital Matter-owned dashboard. That's why Teletrack and other AU telematics providers can support them natively on their own platforms.

Three Digital Matter devices on the Teletrack platform
G70-BLE — flagship hardwired
Heavy plant, generators, and fleet vehicles needing immobilisation. 9–32V hardwired, IP67-rated, three digital inputs (immobilisation output included), BLE for nearby beacons / sensors. PROSTART® cross-vendor immobilisation supported. AUD $250 + GST upfront.
Dart3-BLE — compact hardwired
Light commercial vehicles — utes, vans, light trucks. 9–32V hardwired, compact form factor (fits where the G70-BLE is too large), driver ID via BLE / iButton, PROSTART® cross-vendor immobilisation supported via digital output. AUD $250 + GST upfront.
Barra GPS — battery-powered
Non-powered assets, secondary tracking, budget deployments where immobilisation isn't required. 2 x AA user-replaceable lithium cells, IP68 + IK07 rated, LTE-M / NB-IoT with cell-tower fallback, magnetic activation + tamper detection. PROSTART® pre-start check supported; immobilisation not supported (no digital outputs). AUD $200 + GST upfront, then $15 / month / unit + GST on the battery-tracker subscription.
Subscription tiers split by power source. Hardwired G70-BLE and Dart3-BLE run on the Track tier — $21.90 / asset / month + GST. The battery-powered Barra GPS runs on the lower-volume battery-tracker subscription — $15 / month / unit + GST, reflecting the GPS-only feature set and reduced telemetry on non-powered assets.
PROSTART® pre-start support is included on the Track + PROSTART® tier; cross-vendor immobilisation runs on the G70-BLE and Dart3-BLE.

PROSTART® cross-vendor immobilisation
Pre-start safety enforcement on G70-BLE and Dart3-BLE works the same way it does on TrakaX®, Teltonika, and Ruptela hardware. Pre-start runs on Barra too (immobilisation isn't supported on battery-powered hardware).
AU support + AWS Sydney hosting
Hardware comes through Teletrack with AU customer support and AU-resident data on AWS Sydney. Devices configured and shipped from our Australian operation.

Dart3-BLE in utes, vans, and light trucks where the G70-BLE is physically too large. Driver ID via BLE / iButton; PROSTART® immobilisation supported.
Non-powered + lay-down assets
Barra GPS on trailers, light towers, lay-down yard equipment, and budget secondary tracking. Long battery life on 2 x AA cells; magnetic install.

Digital Matter FAQs
Does Teletrack support every Digital Matter device, or only these three?
We support the whole Digital Matter range on the Teletrack platform. The G70-BLE, Dart3-BLE, and Barra GPS are the three we stock by default because they cover the majority of fleet, plant, and asset use cases we see. If there's a specific Digital Matter device you need, we can get it in for you — tell us the asset and the use case and we'll specify the right device.
Does PROSTART® immobilisation work on the Barra GPS?
No. The Barra GPS is battery-powered with no digital outputs — it physically can't drive an immobilisation relay. PROSTART® pre-start checks do run on Barra (the operator still completes the pre-start questionnaire), but the immobilisation enforcement is hardware-dependent and needs the G70-BLE or Dart3-BLE.
How does Digital Matter compare to TrakaX® for PROSTART® work?
TrakaX® is Australian-designed and PROSTART-native — the tightest integration we ship, particularly on CANBUS / J1939 heavy plant. Digital Matter's G70-BLE supports PROSTART® cross-vendor immobilisation and is the workhorse for hardwired plant where TrakaX® isn't required. Both run on the same Teletrack platform; you can mix and match across one fleet.
Where is the data hosted?
AWS Sydney. Digital Matter devices report into the Teletrack platform on AU-resident infrastructure. AU customer support handles configuration, install, and ongoing operation.
Can I install Digital Matter devices myself?
Hardwired devices (G70-BLE, Dart3-BLE) are typically professionally installed. The Barra GPS is battery-powered with magnetic activation and is straightforward to deploy yourself on non-powered assets.
