Which use case is right for my fleet?
Start with your primary asset type. Commercial fleets should start at light vehicles or heavy trucks. Plant and equipment hire pages cover skid steers, excavators, telehandlers, forklifts, and generators. Trailers and boats are specialty pages for non-powered assets. Teletrack is built for commercial use — the same per-asset subscription applies across personal cars and commercial vehicles; there isn't a separate consumer tier.
Can I mix asset types on one platform?
Yes. The platform is designed for mixed fleets. Run utes, trucks, excavators, and trailers on the same dashboard with the same operator app. Same PROSTART® pre-start workflow, same fuel monitoring, same reporting.
Do I need different hardware for each asset?
Yes, because assets have different power budgets and data needs. Light vehicles use OBD plug-ins or hardwired trackers. Heavy plant uses deep-CAN hardwired devices. Trailers and unpowered assets use battery-powered magnetic-mount trackers. The platform handles mixed hardware natively.
