In-cab screens for PROSTART®.
Rugged Topicon Android screens wired to the Teltonika FMC650 over RS232. Operators sign in with a PIN, iButton or RFID card, complete the PROSTART® pre-start on-screen, and the FMC650 releases the immobiliser on a clean pass. For sites where operators don't carry phones.
A screen is allocated to an asset in the platform, so every completed check, fault photo and operator session ties back to the machine it happened on. Do the screens need a specific tracker?
Yes — they pair with the Teltonika FMC650 over RS232. The FMC650 provides CANBUS, ignition and the immobiliser output; the screen runs the pre-start UI and operator sign-in. Both ship with the mounting kit and RS232 loom included.
What do they cost?
MDT665 (5.7" handheld / cradle) — $600 + GST. MDT865 (rugged cabin tablet) — $800 + GST. One-off hardware purchase, no per-screen subscription — the Track + PROSTART® platform subscription is what runs the pre-start workflow itself.
Can operators just use their phones instead?
Yes — the standard PROSTART® workflow runs on the operator's phone via the Teletrack app. Screens are for sites where phones aren't practical or permitted, or fleets that want a fixed sign-in station bound to each asset.
