Teletrack

Integration

TopFlyTech + Teletrack — keep your hardware, change your platform.

Integration-only. We don't resell TopFlyTech devices — we ingest their telemetry into the Teletrack platform alongside Digital Matter, TrakaX®, Teltonika, and Ruptela. If you've already invested in TopFlyTech hardware (including Iridium satellite models), you don't need to rip and replace to move onto a better platform.

TopFlyTech build a broad range of GPS and IoT tracking devices — OBD plug-ins, hardwired vehicle and asset trackers, and Iridium-capable satellite-fallback units used in remote-area work.

This is an integration, not a hardware product. We take device telemetry from TopFlyTech and treat each device as a tracker in the Teletrack multi-vendor lineup. From the dashboard, the operator app, and the customer portal, a TopFlyTech device looks and behaves the same as a Digital Matter or Teltonika.

Data ingestion

What flows from TopFlyTech into Teletrack

Live GPS position

Location, speed, heading, ignition state.

Engine hours and odometer

Where the device captures them.

Digital input/output state

Door sensors, PTO, panic buttons where fitted.

Alerts and faults

Passed through to the Teletrack alert engine.

Geofence entry/exit

Handled in Teletrack, not on the device.

Iridium satellite fallback

Positions still flow when out of cellular coverage.

Platform integration

How it works: 4-step setup

Step 1: You give us your TopFlyTech device list — model numbers, IMEIs, firmware versions. We confirm which features carry across.

Step 2: Choose your data path: direct endpoint switch (devices report only to Teletrack) or parallel API ingestion (devices keep reporting to TopFlyTech's server too).

Step 3: Each TopFlyTech device maps to a Teletrack asset record. The IMEI is the persistent identifier.

Step 4: TopFlyTech devices appear on the Teletrack map, in reports, under your existing login. Alerts, scorecards, geofences, and customer portal all work from day one.

Typical activation: 1–3 weeks depending on fleet size and SIM changes.

Why this matters — no rip-and-replace

Most telematics platforms lock you into their hardware. If you've invested in TopFlyTech (especially Iridium-capable units for remote work), competing platforms tell you to replace them — a $4,000–$10,000+ write-off before you see the new platform. Teletrack is different: hardware is one decision, platform is another. Run TopFlyTech alongside Digital Matter, TrakaX®, Teltonika, and Ruptela on the same dashboard.

TopFlyTech integration FAQs

Can Teletrack integrate to my specific TopFlyTech model?

In most cases yes. TopFlyTech's device range is broad — hardwired vehicle and plant trackers, OBD plug-ins, asset units, Iridium-capable models. We confirm per model at inventory. Give us model numbers and IMEIs upfront and we tell you which features carry across before you commit.

Will I still have a TopFlyTech account?

Endpoint switch: Devices reconfigured to send data only to Teletrack. Cleaner; you stop paying TopFlyTech-side.
Parallel ingestion: Devices keep reporting to both TopFlyTech and Teletrack. Useful during transition or if a contract requires TopFlyTech-side visibility.

Most customers move to endpoint switch once comfortable.

Can I mix TopFlyTech with Teletrack hardware?

Yes — that's a core Teletrack principle. TopFlyTech assets appear next to Digital Matter, TrakaX®, Teltonika, and Ruptela on the same map, dashboard, and operator app. Mixed fleets are normal.

What about Iridium/satellite-fallback coverage?

TopFlyTech's Iridium-capable models continue to provide satellite-fallback positions when ingested by Teletrack. The position arrives in Teletrack the same way a cellular position does. Useful for remote-area work where cellular coverage is patchy. Note: Iridium telemetry costs are billed by TopFlyTech/your SIM provider; Teletrack doesn't change that.

Can I migrate from TopFlyTech to Teletrack hardware later?

Yes. Many customers do this — keep TopFlyTech on existing fleet to avoid write-off, then replace devices as they age. Migration is device-level; your asset records, history, customer mappings stay intact.
