What hardware do you support?
Four brands across nine devices, plus two integration-only options. Digital Matter G70-BLE and Dart3-BLE for hardwired heavy plant and light commercial; Digital Matter Barra GPS as a battery tracker with magnetic mount and tamper detection for non-powered assets. TrakaX® Series 2 — our own Australian-designed tracker with native PROSTART® integration and full CANBUS / J1939. The full Teltonika range (FMM003 OBD, FMM250 hardwired fleet, FMM650 heavy-duty, FMC650 dashcam-pairing telematics device). The full Ruptela range (Asset5 battery, Plug5 OBD, Smart5 hardwired). We also integrate with TopFlyTech and CalAmp hardware your team may already own. Dashcams — the Teltonika Dashcam (single forward-facing) and Teltonika DualCam (forward + driver-facing) — pair with the FMC650 telematics device.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Teletrack is month-to-month. You can cancel any time with 30 days written notice. We don't have hidden minimum-term clauses or cancellation fees.
Is Teletrack hosted in Australia?
Yes. Teletrack runs on AWS Sydney. Your data stays in the country. We're aligned with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. We don't auto delete your data.
What's PROSTART®, and how is it different from other pre-start apps?
PROSTART® is Teletrack's pre-start safety system. It does what every pre-start app does — checks before the machine starts — but it also immobilises the machine until the pre-start passes, and it works that way across multiple hardware brands, not just one. Most competitors either don't immobilise, or only immobilise on their own hardware. PROSTART® also integrates with Hammertech via full SSO, so operator competency and ticket validity gate the check.
How does pricing work?
Three bundle tiers — Track ($21.90 / asset / month), Track + Safety ($26.90 / asset / month — Maintenance Module + pre-start checks, no immobilisation), Track + PROSTART® ($31.90 / asset / month — Maintenance Module + PROSTART® with cross-vendor immobilisation). Full Suite is Track + PROSTART® plus the operational modules package (Timesheets + Inductions + Dockets together at $5 / user / month). All prices ex GST. Hardware is sold separately upfront. Dashcams are an add-on on top of any tier — $10 / unit / month for the single forward-facing Teltonika Dashcam or $15 / unit / month for the DualCam. We don't charge for installation — we supply documentation, coordinate the install, and can refer an auto-electrician; the installer's invoice is your direct cost. Plug-in (OBD) and battery devices are DIY.
Can our customers see their assets?
Yes. We support four sharing modes. Hire customers can log in to see only the assets they're renting. Head contractors can see every sub-contractor asset on their site. OEM whitelabel partners can run fully-branded portals (custom domain, branding, mobile app). And you can send a secure no-login link for one-off external sharing.
What does onboarding look like?
Typical 10–50 asset fleet is operational in 1–2 weeks. You get a named Implementation Consultant. We import your existing data (CSV / Excel) and pull historical trip / pre-start / maintenance data from your previous platform where possible. PROSTART® rollout includes a 6-stage managed process (group training, setup, operator load, induction video, questionnaire creation, ongoing phone support) included on the Track + PROSTART® tier.
