Fleet overview
Live count of active vs inactive assets. Today's trips, today's engine-hours, current map view of every device. The default landing dashboard for most operations users.
Asset utilisation
Engine-hours by asset, by week / month / quarter. Highlights under-utilised assets (a hire business's leakage problem) and over-utilised assets (an internal fleet's wear problem). Drill-down by asset class, branch, or customer.
Driver scorecard summary
Top and bottom drivers ranked across harsh braking, acceleration, cornering, idling, rollover events, and accidents. Branch-level or driver-group breakdowns. Trend over time.
Fuel usage
Fuel consumption per asset, per kilometre, per engine-hour. Idle fuel waste. Refuel events with location and amount.
Maintenance status
Open work orders by asset, by technician, by status. Overdue work orders. Parts cost rollups. Engine-hours and kilometres against next-service thresholds.
Scheduled email reports
Daily activity summaries, weekly utilisation / scorecard / maintenance, monthly executive rollups. PDF + Excel. Recipients don't need a Teletrack login.
Scheduled reports
Reports that send themselves.
- Daily — yesterday's activity summary. Common for operations managers reviewing overnight events.
- Weekly — utilisation, scorecard, and maintenance status. Common for supervisors and branch managers.
- Monthly — full month summary across fleet, scorecard, fuel, and maintenance. Common for executive reviews and customer reporting.
You pick the recipients, the frequency, and the day / time of delivery. Reports go out as PDF + Excel attachment, or as a link into the platform for users who want to drill in. No login needed for read-only recipients. CSV is available on request if your downstream system needs it.
Common recipient mixes — internal (operations, fleet, safety, finance); external (hire customers receiving utilisation / fuel reports on their hired assets); site-based (head contractors receiving compliance summaries on their sub-contractor fleet).

Excel exports (CSV on request)
Every report and data table in the platform is exportable as Excel. Manual download or scheduled delivery. Useful for finance reconciliation, spreadsheet analysis, and one-off audits. CSV is available on request if a downstream system needs that format.
Custom API (on request)
Custom REST endpoints for assets, trips, locations, geofences, work orders, scorecard, fuel and more. Available on request at Teletrack's discretion — we'll talk through your use case, scope the access, and issue an authentication token. Useful for customer-facing apps, internal BI pipelines, and operational integrations.
Webhooks (on request)
Push notifications to your endpoint when something happens — geofence breach, fault code, pre-start fail, work order created, asset stolen. Configured on request at Teletrack's discretion so we can set up the right events for your integration.
Custom Power BI
When standard dashboards aren't enough.
Larger customers and OEM whitelabel partners often want reporting that goes beyond the standard dashboards — combining Teletrack data with HR, finance, or project data from other systems; custom KPI dashboards for board reporting; customer-facing reports embedded in your own products; operational dashboards tailored to specific role groups.
We build these as custom Power BI deployments through our professional services team. Scope is sized per engagement — small dashboards quoted T&M, larger multi-source builds scoped fixed-price. Data sits on the same AWS Sydney foundation; Power BI connects via the API.

The standard dashboards cover most operational needs. When they don't, we can move quickly — we'll build to your requirements either inside Teletrack (custom views, custom reports, custom data exports) or as a Power BI deployment using your fleet data via the API. Small builds quoted hourly, larger ones scoped fixed-price. Talk to us about what you're trying to see — most reporting gaps are solvable within a week or two.
Common questions
Is API access extra or included?
Custom API access and webhooks are available on request at Teletrack's discretion. Tell us what you're trying to build and we'll talk through scope, the right endpoints / events, rate limiting if it's high-volume, and authentication. Once approved, access is included — we don't charge per API call for normal usage.
Can I customise the dashboards myself?
Today the standard dashboards are fixed — you see the same fleet overview, utilisation, scorecard, fuel, and maintenance dashboards every other customer sees. Custom dashboards happen via Power BI (professional services). Native per-user dashboard customisation is on the roadmap.
Are reports formatted to my branding?
Standard scheduled reports go out under Teletrack branding. For OEM whitelabel partners, reports go out under the partner's branding. Standalone customer-branded reports are available as part of a custom development engagement.
What data is exposed via the API?
Custom endpoints can expose assets, trips, locations, geofences, geofence events, work orders, parts movements, scorecard records, fuel records, pre-start completions and fails, and operator records. We scope exactly what's needed when API access is approved on request, and documentation is provided once an integration token is issued. Documentation is updated each platform release.
Can my finance team get a usage / billing report?
Yes. Billing data and asset counts are exportable as Excel (CSV available on request). A common workflow is a monthly scheduled Excel that finance reconciles against the invoice.
Do you support real-time data streaming, or just polling?
Both, on request. Polling via custom REST endpoints works for most cases. Real-time event push works via webhooks — geofence breach, work order created, pre-start fail, fault code, etc. Both API access and webhooks are available on request at Teletrack's discretion. For high-throughput streaming use cases (e.g. ingesting every location ping into your own data lake), talk to us — we'll discuss the right arrangement.
What's the difference between fleet intelligence and a BI tool like Power BI?
Fleet intelligence is the dashboards and reports inside Teletrack — out-of-the-box, no setup. Power BI is for when you need to combine Teletrack data with other data sources (finance, HR, project, CRM) or build dashboards tailored to specific role groups. We can deliver either; most customers start with standard, add Power BI when the brief outgrows it.
Can I get reports without giving someone a Teletrack login?
Yes. Scheduled email reports go out as PDF + Excel — recipients don't need a Teletrack account to receive or read them. CSV is available on request if a downstream system needs that format. For interactive viewing without a full login, secure-link sharing (Mode 4 of portal sharing) gives a one-off no-login view.
